⏱️ Engine Hour Meter & Shift Overtime Limits
- ✅ Single Shift Rate: Standard day rental includes 8 engine run hours per 24-hr period (40 hrs/wk, 160 hrs/mo).
- ✅ Excess Hour Charges: Runtime exceeding 8 hrs/day billed at 1/8th of daily rate per additional hour.
- ✅ Telematics Logging: Automated cellular GPS hour meter reading governs final invoice reconciliation.
🛡️ Optional Physical Damage Waiver (PDW) Rules
- ✅ Coverage Scope: 12%–15% PDW fee caps contractor liability to $1,000 deductible for accidental collision/rollover.
- ✅ Explicit Exclusions: Zero coverage for gross negligence, bridge clearance strikes, or submersion in water/mud.
- ✅ Tire & Track Cuts: Punctures, hydraulic hose pinches, and rubber track cuts are non-waivable customer expenses.
⛽ Fuel, Cleanliness & Fluid Maintenance
- ⚠️ Return Full Fuel: Equipment delivered with full tank of #2 Off-Road Diesel; return empty billed at $7.50/gal.
- ⚠️ Heavy Mud Wash: Excessive concrete slurry, asphalt, or hardened clay buildup subject to $250 pressure wash fee.
- ✅ Daily Check Protocol: Customer must check engine oil, coolant level, and grease bucket pivot pins every 10 operating hours.
📜 UCC-1 Filing & Contractor Indemnification
- 💎 Certificate of Insurance (COI): Minimum $1,000,000 General Liability + Inland Marine Rented Equipment coverage.
- 💎 UCC-1 Precautionary Filing: Yard files UCC-1 financing statement establishing pure leasehold interest vs customer creditors.
- 💎 Right of Immediate Repossession: Non-payment or jobsite abandonment authorizes instant yard geofence immobilize & tow.
